String of Subway burglaries reported in San Fernando Valley
VALLEY VILLAGE (FOX 11) - A string of burglaries at Subway restaurants have been reported in the San Fernando Valley with a concentration in the North Hollywood area.
An owner of one of the Subway franchisees said there were at least six. There were several Friday night and such a pattern has occurred in recent days, according to Sergeant Bogart of the North Hollywood police station.
In both instances seen in surveillance footage, the suspects smashed a window and stole the cash register.
It was not clear if the burglaries were connected. Bogart said the investigation is ongoing.
