Storm brings snow to local mountains

WRIGHTWOOD (FOX11)) - While we may not have gotten a lot of rain from our latest storm, our local mountains got a coating of white.

But skiers and snowboarders who were hoping to get some fresh powder were pretty disappointed. The snowfall was mixed with rain and was slushy and wet and not the fluffy stuff they were looking forward to .

And while today may not have been the big snow day they were anticipating at Wrightwood's Mountain High, more snow is supposed to be on the way, either later tonight or Saturday.

The resort is anticipating up to a foot of snow, and a big ski and snowboarding day on Saturday.
