A brush fire scorched between three and five acres Saturday in Griffith Park, but no one was injured and no structures were threatened.

The blaze was reported about 2:25 p.m. near the 4900 block of Griffith Park Drive, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

More than 100 city firefighters, assisted by Los Angeles County, Burbank and Glendale units, attacked the flames from the ground and air and had the fire out in 1 hour, 37 minutes, Scott said.
