Simi Valley Police Seeking Public's Help in Identifying Animal Cruelty Suspect

Over the Labor Day Weekend (September 6 and 7, 2015), unknown suspect(s) killed and mutilated a Parson Russell Terrier mix at Foothill Park, 1850 Ardenwood Avenue, in Simi Valley.

The Simi Valley Police Department Detective Unit and Ventura County Animal Services are seeking the public's help in identifying those who were responsible for this heinous crime.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity or persons in the park on Sunday September 6, or Monday September 7 are asked to call Detective Quartararo at (805) 583-6950, or Ventura County Animal Services Supervisor Bryan Bray at (805) 383-4717. Ventura County Animal Services has posted a reward in the amount of $11,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this case.
