San Bernardino Workers React to Brussels
Jerry Black works at Sepulveda Building Materials across the street from the IRC. The Inland Regional Center was ground zero when Said Farouk and Tashfeen Malik stormed a holiday party and killed 14 people and injured 22 others on December 2, 2015.
Tuesday's attack in Brussels weighed heavily on Black's mind and that of another... Jose Serano. To him, hearing about Brussels "bothered me all day. It brought me back to this. It's no fun."
For the people who work here at Sepulveda Building Materials the news of what happened in Brussels could not have been more shocking after all they work right across the street from where the San Bernardino Terrorist attack occurred."
Meanwhile, San Bernardino Sheriffs Spokeswoman Cindy Bachman says, "Everybody is on heightened alert… when an attack like this happens you can't say it's just another day…. it's a normal day in your countyor your city. I don't know if we'll have normal days again."
