San Bernardino family sues Starbucks after allegedly drinking barista's blood

A San Bernardino family is taking Starbucks to court!

The family ordered drinks from the San Bernardino Starbucks and when they took them home, they noticed red smears on the cups and what they said was a strong metallic smell.

They called the coffee shop and found out that there was an employee who had been bleeding, but had been removed from the sales floor.

The store offered free drinks for a week, but the family insisted the employee should have a blood test.

While the store agreed, they did not force the employee to get tested.

The family's suit seeks damages for negligence, battery, assault, fraud and other charges.

None of the family members contracted any illness.

A statement from Starbucks says they are prepared to present their case in court.
