Residents escape flames in Sun Valley house fire

SUN VALLEY, Calif. - Firefighters are battling a house fire in Sun Valley that broke out Thursday evening in the 10500 block of W. Tuxford Street.

All occupants of the two-story home are said to be out safely and no injuries have been reported. The Los Angeles Fire Department tweeted that the fire was mainly concentrated in the attic of the home with spillage into the first and second floor.

No further details were immediately known.
