The event, which will be attended by all members of the team, is free to attend, but fans are being encouraged to RSVP online by filling out a
registration form at www.lalive.com/forms/us-womens-soccer-rally.

The 23-player team includes seven players who played on the high school or college level in Los Angeles or Orange counties -- defender Whitney Engen
(Peninsula High School); midfielders Shannon Boxx (South Torrance High School) and Lauren Holiday (UCLA); and forwards Sydney Leroux (UCLA); Alex Morgan (Diamond Bar High School); Christen Press (Chadwick School); and Amy Rodriguez (Santa Margarita High School, USC).

The team arrived at Los Angeles International Airport aboard a chartered jet around 6:20 p.m. Monday, one day after beating Japan, 5-2, in the final of the FIFA Women's World Cup in Vancouver, British Columbia, avenging their loss to Japan in the 2011 final on penalty kicks.

The official championship rally will be held at 11 a.m. July 7 at L.A. LIVE's Microsoft Square (map). Gates will open at 9 a.m. Free public parking will be offered after 9 a.m. in West Garage. If you want to party with the world champs, Tap here to register online.
