Puppies rescued from oil tank by good samaritan
A pair of puppies in Kern County, California is now safe after being rescued from an oil tank.
An officer from Kern County Animal Services responded to a call and found two puppies covered in oil. A good Samaritan had rescued the animals from a nearby oil well.
The puppies were taken to Bakersfield vet where staff cleaned and cared for them. They were then passed to a shelter.
And the puppies have their happily ever after...
They were adopted by the same family.
