Prep for Independence Day celebration at Rose Bowl

Preps are underway for Wednesday evening's fireworks show at the Rose Bowl.

Tons of aerial booms, bursts and blasts are being set up at the Rose Bowl in preparation for the largest Independence Day celebration in southern California.

Technicians from Pyro Spectaculars by Souza are setting up hundreds of mortars and other equipment to get ready for the longest running 4th of July celebration in the state.

"We will be launching the largest show ever hosted at the Rose Bowl," said H.H. Hanson of PyroSpectaculars. "It will be an amazing display you won't want to miss!"
