Preliminary 4.2 earthquake strikes near San Diego County

JULIAN, CA (FOX 11) - A preliminary magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck near San Diego Wednesday, followed by a preliminary magnitude 3.1 aftershock, according to the USGS.

The earthquake was centered about eight miles or 13 km northeast of Julian, California.

No injures have been reported at this time.
