Police investigate Veterans Affairs officer involved shooting

An officer-involved shooting attributed to a Veterans Affairs officer in Panorama City left a suspect in custody Thursday but resulted in no injuries, authorities said.

The incident occurred about 4:50 a.m. in the 14000 block of Terra Bella Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The name of the suspect was not immediately available, and the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately released.
