Police investigate deadly shooting in South L.A.

(FOX 11/CNS) - A man was shot and killed Thursday morning in the Central-Alameda area of South Los Angeles.

Police responded about 12:20 a.m. to the area near East 41st Place and Morgan Avenue and located the victim inside a vehicle, according to Officer A. Rodriguez of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim suffered several gunshot wounds to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.
