Police In Whittier Investigate Walk-Up Shooting Of 18-Year Old

The shooting occurred in front of an apartment complex in the 6100 block of Norwalk Boulevard around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Alex Villanueva said.
Sheriff's Deputy Mike Barraza said the 18-year-old victim had been standing in front of the complex with friends when the male suspect walked up to him and began firing.
Barraza said the victim's friends were not injured.
