Police chase ends in shooting in Fontana

FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A police pursuit that started out of San Bernardino County Wednesday night ended with a shooting in Fontana on the 10 freeway near the area of Citrus Avenue and Valley Boulevard.

Medics were seen giving aid to an individual police pulled out of a dark-colored sedan possibly the suspect's vehicle.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department says the pursuit began in Apple Valley at about 7:44 p.m. with the suspect entering the 15 freeway southbound.

No further details were immediately known. The investigation is ongoing.
