Owl rescued from fence by officers

An owl was rescued after getting stuck in a barbed wire fence in Colorado.

Officers with the Fremont County Sheriff's Office received a call that an owl was stuck in a fence and when they arrived, they decided to bring in backup from the Division of Wildlife.

Officer Holder with the Division of Wildlife responded and was able to free the owl from the fence.

The animal was then taken to a local rehab center to be looked at.

The sheriff's office shared photos of the poor owl's ordeal on Facebook.
