One-year-old fatally struck by car in Fontana

FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A 1-year-old child has died after being struck by a car in what is believed to be a family accident, according to police.

Fontana police responded to the scene in Fontana around 10:30 Tuesday morning and found CPR being performed on the toddler.

When officers arrived, life saving measures were continued, but the boy succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fontana police are investigating.
