One person shot in Eagle Rock home invasion robbery

Eagle Rock, CA (CNS) - A person was shot today during a home invasion robbery in Eagle Rock and police were looking for two suspects reported to be armed with shotguns.

Officers responded to a shots fired call just after 8:10 a.m. in the 4600 block of Ellenwood Drive, said Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

One person who suffered a gunshot wound was taken to a hospital, but Im did not know the victim's age, gender or condition.

Both suspects are males who were armed with shotguns and left the scene heading north, Im said. One is described as white, 20-30 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds with blond hair and the other as black, age unknown, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Both suspects were wearing jeans, Im said.
