One man killed, one wounded in Glendale stabbing

GLENDALE, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - One man was killed and another man seriously wounded in a stabbing in the Glendale Civic Center area this morning, police said.

The attack happened at Broadway and Isabel Street about 1 a.m, said Glendale police Sgt. Robert William. "Two people were stabbed in front of the courthouse but one made it to the police station," William said.

That man had serious wounds and was taken to County USC Medical Center, he said. The other man was pronounced dead at the courthouse.

There is an active crime scene that has shut down Broadway between Jackson Street and Glendale Avenue, William said before dawn this morning.

"We have no witnesses," he said. And the surviving victim was not able to provide police with any information.
