Oakland City Councilman Noel Gallo discusses the fatal warehouse fire

Some people saw the warning signs long before the warehouse in Oakland went up in flames - killing at least 36 people.

They saw the danger as soon as they walked into the building.

This is footage from inside the 'Oakland Ghost Ship.'

A former tenant recorded the video. Dailymail.com put it on its website.

The rooms are filthy, dark and small. The toilets look backed up. The floors wet from a leak and there are exposed electrical wires everywhere.

The former tenant also revealed that there were three fires while she lived there in 2014 and 2015 --- caused by faulty electrical equipment.

Oakland requires yearly fire inspections...so why was this building not tagged?

Councilman Noel Gallo who represents the district where the warehouse is located joined us live from Oakland.
