News photographer came close to being hit during high-speed pursuit

(FOX 11) - It was the spectacular end to a police pursuit in Mid-City. Late Wednesday night, a stolen car suspect crashes into another car stopped at a red light.

But what was even more shocking is SkyFOX captures the moment when the car narrowly misses hitting a news photographer.

Victor Park, 26, is no stranger to police pursuits.

He's covered countless as a stringer for Loud Labs News Service.

But this time, he got too close for comfort.

Park and fellow news stringers have been featured in the Netflix documentary series, Shot in the Dark

It's that attitude that prompted park into another dangerous situation, last year. Police pursued this white minivan the suspect reportedly had a gun. But that didn't stop park from approaching the driver.

Park said he will be there with his camera rolling despite his mother's misgivings.
