No, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. That is a big cat up a pole! Hesperia Animal Control Officers confirmed that a mountain lion was spotted in the area of Arrowhead Lake Road late Tuesday but what made the sighting even more eventful was the fact that it involved the big cat 35-feet up a wooden power pole.
According to the Victor Valley Daily Press, two California Deptartment Fish and Game officers who were parked a ways a way and requesting passersby not to stop, think the mountain lion was sppoked by dogs, people or another source and ran up the pole for safety.
