Minor injuries after two school buses collide in Rolling Estate Hills

(FOX 11) - Two school buses collided Friday afternoon in Rolling Hills Estates, sending one adult to a hospital.

The accident was reported just before 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and Silver Spur Road (map).

A total of 17 people, 11 children and six adults, were assessed at the scene and treated for minor injuries.

One of the adults -- a 31-year-old woman who complained of dizziness -- was taken to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
