A McLaren sports car was demolished Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Woodland Hills that sent two people to a hospital.

The crash was reported at 4:48 p.m. at the intersection of Califa Street and Platt Avenue, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.

Video from the scene showed the green sports car on the sidewalk with its front end shattered into pieces.

Police told the Los Angeles Times that two other vehicles fled the scene.

At least two people were taken from the scene to a hospital, but their conditions, genders and ages were not available, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
