Masked men tie up resident during break-in, set fire to Tujunga home

Two masked suspects in a home-invasion robbery set fire to the residence as they were fleeing Tuesday.

A man was tied up and robbed by the suspects during the break-in, which occurred about 4 a.m. in the 10200 block of Fairgrove Avenue.

The suspects, described only as males, took items from the home and fled, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

No injuries were reported.

The victim, who did not want to speak with media, used a garden hose to extinguish the flames.
