Marianne Williamson on pain, anxiety and the best way to handle it

She's an internationally acclaimed author, writing many self-help books. She has a new book about how to deal with pain: "Tears to Triumph: The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment."

In the video, Marianne reflects on pain and anxiety we suffer in today's world--and what she considers the best way to handle it.

Also, Marianne is the founder of the L.A.-based charity "Project Angel Food."

The charity is planning a star-studded awards gala honoring Marianne and volunteers this Saturday, September 17th.

The 26th Angel Awards is a fundraiser and the money raised goes to feeding people suffering from all kinds of diseases.
