Man found dead in West Hollywood

Authorities on Monday were investigating the death of a man who apparently fell or was pushed from an apartment window in West Hollywood.

Officers initially responded to the scene because a stabbing was reported, and they found the man dead about 6:55 a.m. in the 1100 block of Hacienda Place, according to the sheriff's department.

Sheriff's Lt. Derrick Alfred told FOX 11 that there were signs of a struggle or scuffle from inside the apartment, and detectives were working to determine if the fall was intentional or accidental.

An autopsy was pending to determine the man's cause of death.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
