Man dies at hospital after being shot in a Burbank home overnight

BURBANK, Calif. (FOX 11) - Burbank police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at about 2:36 a.m.

Authorities say officers were called to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after a 21-year-old man was brought into the emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local trauma center but has since passed away, police said. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

A description of the shooter is not available at this time.

Investigators say the shooting occurred at a home in the 4000 block of West Clark Avenue. Detectives will remain on scene until they wrap-up their investigation at that location.
