Malibu woman who fought for Alice Johnson reacts to her commutation

Reality star Kim Kardashian West called it the greatest news ever. Her personal plea to President Donald Trump to get a 63-year-old grandmother released from federal prison paid off.

The news brought tears to the eyes of local woman Amy Povah who'd been fighting for Johnson's release for years -- but she happily gives credit to Kardashian.

Povah, who founded the organization CAN-DO Clemency, said it took a celebrity to make it happen.
