Malibu woman who fought for Alice Johnson reacts to her commutation
MALIBU, Calif. (FOX 11) - Reality star Kim Kardashian West called it the greatest news ever. Her personal plea to President Donald Trump to get a 63-year-old grandmother released from federal prison paid off.
The news brought tears to the eyes of local woman Amy Povah who'd been fighting for Johnson's release for years -- but she happily gives credit to Kardashian.
Povah, who founded the organization CAN-DO Clemency, said it took a celebrity to make it happen.
