'Machete eats vegan!' Trejos Tacos opens to feed LA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - It's busy in the kitchen of Trejo's Tacos. The restaurant is now open to the public.

Ramses, the kitchen manager says, "We've been doing practices, nobody here is nervous." Perhaps that's because there's already all kinds of buzz even before the restaurant ever opened.

It all has to do with one menacing looking dude known as Machete, Danny Trejo. He says, "My mom always had a dream of owning her own restaurant." So, Danny is making that dream come true.

Trejo's Tacos is located on La Brea just south of Olympic in Los Angeles. On the menu: brisket tacos, chicken, pork, shrimp tostadas, tofu and gluten free tacos.

Trejos Tacos is now open for business - and ready to feed L.A.
