LAX closes some lower-level lanes at Terminal 3 through mid-August

Three lower level lanes at Los Angeles International Airport will be closed through August during a construction project at Terminal 3.

Airport officials said underground utility work in connection with the renovation of Terminal 3 will result in the shutdown of lanes beginning Monday through mid-August.

Major underground utility work in connection with the renovation of Terminal 3 will necessitate the closure of three lower level inner lanes at Los Angeles International Airport, an airport spokesman said today.

The curb between Columns 3 C and 3 H will closed for passenger pickup, and the shared ride van and taxi zones in that area will be removed.
