LA's ‘Saved by the Bell' pop-up diner adds weekend brunch

A "Saved by the Bell" inspired pop-up diner and bar is coming to LA in May.

"Saved by the Max" will open May 1 for dinner and weekend brunch. The dinner reservations sold out quickly, so the creators added a weekend brunch and tickets for that go on sale Friday, March 16 at noon PST. The first available weekend for brunch is June 16 and 17.

Tickets cost $40 and include admission and the meal, which is created by Michelin-starred chef Brian Fisher

The pop-up diner, which follows a wildly successful Chicago run, is located in West Hollywood at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd.

"Saved by the Max" recreates the popular hangout The Max that was heavily featured on the 90s teen sitcom.

The creators say they want visitors to feel like they're an extra on the TV show. They say every person working there will know all about the show because they all had to pass a 'Saved by the Bell' quiz they created.
