LAPD motorcycle officer injured in crash in Van Nuys

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11) - A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer received minor injuries in a crash on Friday morning in Van Nuys.

The crash occurred around 10:10 a.m. involving the motor officer and a minivan. Police shut down the 6900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard to conduct their investigation.

The officer was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The name of the officer involved has not been released.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
