LAPD Investigates Report of Teacher Inappropriate Behavior at Santa Clarita School

The investigation began when several students reported inappropriate conduct from a staff member at the school. As soon as detectives became involved, they worked to ensure that the staff member was not in contact with the students.

The alleged conduct was initially reported to the sheriff's department, but when it was determined that the crimes occurred in Tujunga, the Los Angeles Police Department's Sexually Exploited Child Unit took over the case.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Sexually Exploited Child Unit, Juvenile Division, at (213) 486-0580, from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters "LAPD."
