LAPD Chief Charlie Beck on the mend after off-road motorcycle accident

(FOX 11) - LAPD Chief Charlie Beck is recuperating from an off-road motorcycle accident this past weekend.

He took to Twitter to thank all is well-wishers and assured everyone that he's on the mend.

Beck fractured his pelvis and cracked some ribs over the weekend while riding an off-road motorcycle in the Tehachapi mountains with a group of friends.
