LA County Gasoline Price Drops to Lowest Since April 18

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since April 18, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.211.

The average price has dropped 37 of the past 38 days, decreasing 67.8 cents, including 1.5 cents on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 13.5 cents less than one week ago, 54.1 cents lower than one month ago and 53.8 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped today to its lowest amount since April 17, decreasing a half-cent to $3.13.

The Orange County average price has also dropped 37 of the past 38 days, decreasing 69.7 cents, including 1.5 cents on Sunday. It is 14.8 cents less than one week ago, 56.3 cents lower than one month ago and 57.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
