LA Angels foundation hosts kids holiday party
ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Los Angeles Angels foundation hosted their 18th annual kids holiday party to spread some festive cheers.
The team hosted about 600 people associated with local nonprofits to treat families with holiday-themed dinners, as well as giving kids Christmas presents and chances to play carnival games at Angel Stadium.
Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak was at the kids holiday party to hang out, hand out prizes and sign autographs for the fans. The children attending the party also got to watch the movie, Angels in the Outfield, at the stadium.
Members of the following organizations attended Tuesday's holiday party: Anaheim Family YMCA, Project Access, Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, KidWorks, Families Forward, OC Rescue Mission, Easterseals Southern California, Orangewood Foundation, Olive Crest.
