Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center lockdown lifted

UPDATE: We have taken the suspect of the man with a gun radio call at Kaiser Permanente South Bay into custody. At this point, we have no evidence of a gun or a shooting, according to LAPD Harbor Division.

According to the LAPD Harbor Division watch commander says they are investigating a call for a man with a gun at Harbor City Kaiser Permanente and the medical center is on lockdown.

The department tweeted out:

'We responded to reports of a Man with a Gun at Kaiser Permanente South Bay. We are currently on scene searching the area. @KPSouthBay is currently on lock-down as a precaution and they are asking for people on campus to shelter in place. Please avoid the area.'
