K-Rails removed in Glendora's Colby Fire burn area

The city of Glendora is removing K-rails this week for a majority of residential streets in the Colby Fire impact area.

The K-rails were installed in 2014 to deal with the aftermath of the Colby Fire and the damage that was done to the soil and vegetation in the foothills there.

Local agencies say they've determined that the area has recovered significantly so the K-rails will be removed and sent to Burbank which suffered similar damage in this years La Tuna Fire.
