J.C. Penney to hire more than 40k for the holidays

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - J.C. Penney plans to hire more than 40,000 people during the holiday season.

The department store chain says it is looking for cashiers, workers to restock its stores and beauty consultants.

On Oct. 17, there will be a nationwide job fair at about 875 stores.
