Investigation underway after anti-Semitic graffiti scrawled at Tarzana synagogue

Police were investigating this week after a synagogue in Tarzana was targeted with anti-Semitic graffiti.

The incident was reported around 9:55 a.m. Tuesday at the Mishkan Torah synagogue, located at at 5552 Reseda Boulevard, police said.

A suspect spray-painted profane graffiti on a wall outside of the synagogue, the same day it was reported that several Turkish flags were hung outside two Armenian schools in the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles City Councilman Bob Blumenfield tweeted about the reported vandalism, saying he and his staff "stand ready to assist if there is anything we can do to help."
