Innocent bystander wounded during road rage incident in Montebello
MONTEBELLO, Calif. (FOX 11) - An innocent victim was caught in the middle of a violent road rage incident in Montebello.
Montebello police say a call came in around 10 p.m. Friday night for a shooting that happened in front of the ‘best Star Inn’ on Telegraph Road near Greenwood Avenue.
Police say a man was walking along the sidewalk when he was hit by a stray bullet. He was taken to the hospital and listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives believe the shooting was caused by a road rage incident. Police do not currently have a description of the suspects or vehicle.
