IN DEPTH: Trump, Putin, Reagan, Tweets and Summer Blockbusters!

This the 20th show since we started FOX 11 News IN DEPTH and this week it's politics and summer blockbuster movies!

If you have comments about our show please send them to News@FOX11.com and write in the subject line FOX 11 News IN DEPTH. Your comments may be read on the air.

SEGMENT 1: As we celebrated America's Independence this year we talked with celebrants to find out their feelings about the USA. Much has been said about how divided the electorate is so, in our first segment, we talk with John Huebusch, the Executive Director of the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, about the 'Divided States of America.'

SEGMENT 2: Would President Reagan have tweeted and would he have used the communication tool differently than the current president? Reagan Library Executive Director John Heubusch discusses that in this segment and gives his assessment of the impact of social media on politics today.

SEGMENT 3: Some summer blockbusters have gone BUST! What's the impact of big budget film flops and who does that hurt? Matt Donnelly with The Wrap gives us some perspective. Remember, many of our fellow Angelenos depend on big and successful films for their income.

SEGMENT 4: We leave you with the Capitol Fireworks from Washington D.C.

Thanks to Photographer Carlos Jacinto who shot the segment at the Porter Ranch July 4th Celebration and editors Jake Frahm who edited "The Divided States of America", Art Talavera who edited the show open, and our entire FOX 11 News IN DEPTH team!
