House fire, possible explosion in Fullerton

FULLERTON, Calif. (FOX 11) - Fullerton police officers and Fullerton firefighters responded Friday afternoon to the 700 block of Carhart regarding a possible explosion and a residence on fire.

In an abundance of caution, Fern Drive School is being placed on lockdown until the source can be determined and the area is deemed safe.

Fullerton Police Department's PIO tweeted photos from the scene and said the school and its occupants " do not appear to be in any immediate danger."
