'Hot ticket to Hawaii' Virgin America launches daily flights from LAX starting at $169

Virgin America announced today it will expand its service to Hawaii with daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Honolulu, Oahu on May 5, and Kahului, Maui on June 14.

The airline recently launched daily service from San Francisco International Airport to Honolulu and Maui.

The Aloha state is the "most wanted'' destination by members of Virgin America's Elevate loyalty program and Hawaii continues to be the number one tourism destination from the West Coast, according to Virgin America President and CEO David Cush.

"Since we launched our Hawaii service last year, we've seen firsthand why it is one of the most popular leisure destinations among West Coast travelers,'' Cush said. "The guest response to our new routes has been
extremely positive, which is why we are so pleased to announce that we are expanding our nonstop service to the Los Angeles market.''

Direct flights from LAX to Hawaii in style starting at $169 each way.

Virgin is currently having a "Hot Ticket to Hawaii" fare sale to promote the new flights with tickets starting at $169 each way.

Direct service to Honolulu, Oahu starts on May 5, 2016 while service flights to Kahului, Maui starts on June 14, 2016.

As with all of these new flight offers and for the best fares, tickets have to be purchased for travel between May 5 through October 5 for Honolulu and August 15 through October 5 for the Maui trip.
