Hillary Clinton signs copies of her new book to large crowds

During her book signing, Hillary Clinton didn't respond directly to shouted questions from the media about Michael Flynn's guilty plea. She did, however, manage to plug her book.

"You know you can read a lot about Russia in this book. There is a whole chapter that explains what happened. I highly recommend it for some holiday reading... laughter." Clinton said to the crowd.

The former first lady and 2016 presidential candidate is promoting 'What Happened' at a sold-out signing in Pasadena.

About 1000 supporters lined up for blocks around the store for a chance to get a signed copy and meet Clinton.

Supporter Britt Vaughan was asked what her impression of Clinton was. "She is really nice...very warm...very genuine...very personable...so loved it," Vaughan said.

Meanwhile, Leah Santat from Altadena could barely contain her emotions after scoring a picture with her idol.

"What did she say...she saw you and said what...she loved the leggings and wanted a picture with them...I'm so happy I wore them," Santat said.

And while Clinton herself didn't elaborate on Flynn, her supporters had plenty to say for her. "I think it's great! It's somewhat vindicating and now we just have to go to the next step." said Britta Lee Shain of Monrovia.

I would say there is vindication but it doesn't change anything…she's still not president." said Vaughan.

Attendees paid $30.00 a person for a signed copy of Clinton's book and a chance to meet her.
