Hiker stranded on steep hillside in Griffith Park rescued
FOX 11/CNS - A hiker was rescued Monday afternoon in Griffith Park after being stranded in steep terrain near Bee Rock.
The incident was reported at about 3 p.m.
Firefighters used ropes and a harness to get him to the top of a cliff, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The male hiker did not appear to be seriously injured. Further details were not immediately available.
