Good Samaritan pulls man from burning vehicle on 710 Fwy
(FOX 11) A Good Samaritan pulled a man out of a burning car early Thursday morning after it crashed into a pole on the 710 Freeway, authorities said.
The crash was reported just after 1 a.m. when a passing driver stopped to help. As he came up to the car, he noticed a man inside the vehicle and the car catching fire, California Highway Patrol officials said.
He reportedly pulled the man out of the vehicle, but could not move him far. Other drivers stopped to help and together they pulled the man to safety as the car exploded, official said.
The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
Further details about the crash were not released.
