Fundraiser for Thalia's brain surgery
COSTA MESA, CA - Chances are you've never heard of an illness called Slit Ventricle Syndrome and Chiari Malformation. That's what little Thalia was recently diagnosed with, and she will need a cranial expansion surgery to expand her skull. Her parents say her skull is not growing and her brain no longer has any room to grow.
Thalia, a 9-year-old girl, has been hospitalized 41 times, and the family hopes generous donations will help them to continue to support and focus on her health and recovery. The surgery is scheduled for January 8, 2018. For more information, visit Thalia's Brain Surgery on GoFundMe.
