Four shot in South LA parking lot
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Four people were shot on Sunday, two of them critically, in South Los Angeles and authorities were searching for whoever shot them.
The attack took place around 2:45 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
The wounded included three men and one woman, Stewart said. Two of the men were listed in critical condition and the other two victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds, Stewart said. All four were taken to a hospital for treatment, she added.
The shooting took place in a parking lot, added Sgt. S. Blackman of the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Division. There was no word yet on what precipitated the shooting or whether it was gang-related, Blackman said.
The ages of the victims have not yet been released.
No suspect information was currently available.
